Workshops

In the workshops we teach key concepts and techniques through recipes. We also demonstrate how to alter the recipes by using different ingredients and sometimes by ‘upgrading’ them into more gourmet versions of themselves. This means you come away able to make many different dishes, not only the recipes covered in the workshop. All participants receive detailed handouts containing recipes, a resource list and membership to a facebook group for ongoing discussion and assistance. Introduction to Raw Food (4 hours) - Covering key concepts in raw food nutrition, ingredients and ‘cooking’, and practical recipe making…
This workshop introduces you to the core concepts in raw food nutrition, ingredients and ‘cooking’. It’s perfect for people new to Raw Food as well as for more experienced people seeking inspiration and more detailed knowledge. You will leave knowing how to make different breakfast dishes including nut and seed milks, smoothies with superfoods and more, as well as different lunch/diner concepts such as pates, vinaigrettes and mayonnaises, raw crackers, and more. All recipes can be made at home using standard kitchen equipment.
Fast Food (4 hours) – Learn how to make delicious, nutritious raw food meals that can be ready to eat in under 20 minutes…
Proof that great food doesn’t have to be slow, this class will give tools and ideas to help you make nutrient-rich raw food meals part of your everyday diet.
Decadent Desserts (4 hours) - Desserts that are delicious, healthy and easy to make – what’s not to like!
Desserts may well be one of the most appealing aspects of raw food cuisine! They are faster and easier to make than cooked ones, unbelievably delicious and can be eaten with a clear conscious! What’s not to like! Here we will make a range of raw desserts and sweet treats without refined sugar or dairy products, that will leave your taste buds happy.
Gourmet Tapas (4 hours) – Bring a little ‘gourmet’ into your life! Amaze your friends – and yourself - with Mediterranean classics recreated in the Raw…
For those who want to create something more unusual, this workshop will teach more advanced concepts in raw food and in chefing. Made larger, each tapa can be served as a meal in its own right. It is possible for beginners to take this class.

Get a group of friends or colleagues together, at our venue or yours, and explore new ideas in food, in company of your own choosing. The workshop content can be chosen from our existing series or it can be a specially created workshop that combines elements of different workshops into one. Introduction to Fermented Drinks, held in conjunction with Karene Lyngholm of The Fermented Guru (4 hours)
Stop paying for mass-produced, lifeless beverages and start creating your own dynamic blends…This class introduces core concepts in drink fermentation, using a range of starters including SCOBY’s (Kombucha), Kefir crystals and various probiotics. Different fermenting techniques are covered, as are vessel and storage options, ingredient possibilities and trouble shooting.
